The Owl’s Nest Learning Hub is a workforce and education readiness program designed to remove barriers to employment, education, and personal stability. We provide individualized coaching, education, childcare support, job readiness training, and life skills development to help you build a strong foundation for your future.  

Our program is open to young adults ages 16-24, with priority given to:  

✔️ Young parents or expectant parents  

✔️ Youth in foster care, aging out, or formerly in foster care 

✔️ Independent minors (emancipated, caring for siblings, or without stable support systems)

✅Step 2: Initial Meeting – Meet with our team to create your custom personal development plan and set goals.  

✅ Step 3: Take Action – Within the first 5 days, we’ll work together to secure missing documents, apply for resources, and get you set up.  

✅ Step 4: Build Your Future – Over 90 days, you’ll secure employment or education, set financial goals, and develop independent living skills.

Each participant will receive a customized roadmap based on their unique goals, but here’s what a typical schedule might include:  

First 5 Days: Laying the Foundation  

- Gather personal documents (ID, birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of address, etc.).  

- Enroll in GED, vocational training, or job placement support.  

- Create a personal budget & open a bank account if needed.  

- Develop a weekly planner for scheduling work, childcare, and personal goals.  

30-Day Plan: Securing Employment & Stability  

- Job applications & interview prep with career coaching.  

- Assistance with work uniforms, background checks, and pre-employment fees.  

- Set up transportation assistance and childcare arrangements.  

- Volunteer or internship placement if needed for career growth.  

60-Day Plan: Financial Literacy & Independent Living 

- Learn budgeting, meal planning, grocery shopping, and saving strategies.  

- Develop a personal savings plan for future housing, vehicle, or childcare costs.  

- Participate in parenting or life skills workshops.  

- Begin career advancement planning (higher education, trade school, apprenticeships).  

90-Day Plan: Education, Career Advancement & Long-Term Stability  

- Secure full-time employment or enroll in higher education.  

- Set up a long-term financial plan (credit building, saving for housing, etc.).  

- Continue accessing mentorship & leadership development programs.  

- Prepare to transition out of the program with continued support.
